Hibiscus Bracelet
Description
The name Hibiscus comes from the Greek hibiskos which meant “mallow”. The person who gave the name to the plant with large and colorful flowers was Discoride, one of the most famous doctors of antiquity, around the first century BC. It seems in fact that the root and petals, thanks to their medicinal and healing properties, were used to cure some diseases. Giving a Hibiscus as a gift was therefore considered a wish for good health.
