Ghelas Nude Coin Charm

A bull with a human face, to interpret the violent Gelas river, and an armed knight, a reference to the tyrant Hippocrates: these are the figures reproduced in the silver and ruthenium charm dedicated to the city of Gela, which began minting coins around 490 BC. The goldsmiths pay homage to this excellent artistic production with a collection that aims to shine a spotlight on the sculptural capabilities of our island, today as yesterday.
