Mini Trinacria Earrings

Because of its triangular shape, Sicily is often called Trinacria. The name derives from the ancient Greek treis (three) and àkra (promontories), in reference to the perimeter of the island. In heraldry, this is the definition of a female head with three legs, a symbol also present in the flag of the Sicilian Region.
